Four Years, Four Rounds, One Mission

By Stuart McClure

We have unwavering focus. From day one our mission has been to protect every computer under the sun. It's a lofty goal, but one that has driven us to pour our collective hearts and souls into this company every minute of every day. But "vision without execution is just hallucination" to quote the great Thomas Edison.

That's what this latest round of funding is earmarked for, execution.

In only two short years of selling CylancePROTECT®, our revolutionary endpoint security product built on artificial intelligence and machine learning, we have seen incredible adoption rates, won numerous awards and expanded our operations to the international stage.

Electric cars weren't new in July of 2003, but it took Tesla Motors to jump-start and ultimately disrupt the tired and aging auto industry. It took the Model S to reset the world's expectations about what transportation in the 21st century could look like. That’s the vision we have for Cylance®.

Our flagship product, CylancePROTECT, stops all kinds of crazy cyberattacks including zero-day malware, exploits, and malwareless attacks aimed at our customers each and every day — often while they sleep. We save countless lost nights and weekends — all silently. We easily scale from 5 to 5,000,000 endpoints, and we want the world to know. We have many miles to go before we sleep, with the end goal being to protect every computer under the sun, but we have achieved so much in such a short period of time.

To achieve our goal, we need to get our products in the hands of the world, and to every grandmother and son and daughter. We are rapidly building the company's research and development, sales and marketing, support and service teams — and we need the world to know about us and try us out. We need your voice to tell everyone you know. Today, our products have raving fans, but we need the world to see what our customers see. We need you.

Our passion to protect through prevention is our driving force, built into the very DNA that powers us. I can’t adequately describe how meaningful it is to us when we hear a customer — either a CIO or a CISO — tell us, "Thank you for giving me my life back. I used to work well into the evening or get called back in to deal with incidents or user problems. Now I can finally watch my kids' soccer games again." We attribute this passion for our solution to its effectiveness and elegance, and to the people that have built it: our employees.

And we are just getting started…
